Lana Bozanic

Lana is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics at the University of Waterloo, where she is majoring in Mathematical Physics. As many young aspiring physicists, Lana’s interests lie in gaining a deeper understanding of the universe, and this leads her to the field of optics. In 2022, she joined the SQO group as an undergraduate co-op student, where she is working on generating entangled knot states for quantum computing applications. Previously, Lana spent time as an undergraduate research and outreach assistant at the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC), where she focused on building optical demonstrations for graduate courses hosted by IQC. Namely, she worked on recreating a quantum eraser.
