Jérémie Gagnon-Bischoff

Jérémie Gagnon-Bischoff started his undergraduate studies in physics at the University of Ottawa in September 2015. During the summer of the same year, he worked in Robert W. Boyd’s Quantum Photonics group through the Faculty of Science’s Undergraduate Research Scholarship (URS) program. His main task was to study the grating couplers technology.

Jérémie joined the SQO group in September 2015 under the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP) scholarship; he then spent the second summer of his URS scholarship with the group. Now, as he is entering the 3rd year in the Physics-Mathematics Honours BSc program, Jérémie continues to work on projects on liquid crystals Pancharatnam-Berry phase optical elements and quantum key distribution (QKD) experiments.
