James will be going into his second year of Honours Physics with a minor in Mathematics in the fall. He has never had any research experience before but is eager to learn and get involved. James started his degree at the University of Ottawa in Finance, but after completing his first year, switched programs to Physics. His interest in Physics started while he was in high school at Lakefield College School. James loves to read books in his spare time, especially Physics books. Besides books, he also enjoys playing sports like rugby and ultimate frisbee, and spending time by the lake at his cottage.
