Gu Yunsong

Gu Yunsong is an undergraduate student majoring in Control Science and Engineering at China University of Geosciences (Beijing). He joined the group in October 2025 as a visiting student at the University of Ottawa, where he will conduct research for a two-year period.

His interest in quantum systems developed through his academic background in control science and engineering, which led him to explore quantum-related phenomena and join the research group. His current research focuses on the Hong–Ou–Mandel (HOM) effect and its experimental measurement.

In his free time, Yunsong enjoys working out, playing sports, and traveling.
