Li-Yu Shen
Li-Yu is currently a research assistant in the SQO group. He obtained his BS in Physics and MS in Electrical Engineering back in Taiwan. In his master’s program, he worked on the simulation and analysis of a thin-film bulk acoustic resonator (FBAR) device using the finite element method (FEM). Now, his research is on quantum imaging and computational imaging, with a focus on phase-sensitive and quantum-enhanced microscopy. His work involves numerical simulations and quantum imaging experiments of optical imaging systems, including phase retrieval, differential phase contrast (DPC), and super-resolution quantum microscopy. Outside the lab, Li-Yu enjoys bouldering, playing sports with his friends and hiking.
