Lu Gao

Dr. Lu Gao received her Bachelor’s degree in physics from Beijing Normal University in June 2004. She is very interested in quantum optics. She joined Prof. K. Wang’s research group and started to work as a PhD student in September 2004 in the Institute of physics in Beijing Normal University. In 2009 she received her PhD degree of science and start to work as a lecturer in China University of Geosciences (Beijing). She became an associate professor in School of Science of China University of Geosciences (Beijing) In 2014. She received the financial funding support from China Scholarship Council and worked as a visiting scholar in Prof. Robert. Boyd’s group in University of Rochester from 2015 to 2016. She received the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) for the basic research in the field of quantum optics from 2016 to 2018. She is now working in Prof. Karimi’s SQO group in University of Ottawa as a visiting scholar to continue the experimental research on the quantum nonlocal phenomena. Her research interest includes the optical correlation phenomena in coordinate space and orbital angular momentum, heralded Fourier filtering process and quantum nonlocal effect. Selected publications
